I had no idea that anyone took color photographs during World War I. They look a bit stilted, but that's probably due to low shutter speeds or somesuch. They're still fascinating.

Are you sure these are authentic color photos? Many of them (though not all) look "colorized" to me, like when they take an old black & white movie and add color to it afterward. Quite a few look real, though. Or just really well done. :-) What's the source of them?
