If Fox News allowed planted GOP partisans at a Democrat debate ...

... the mainstream media would be in high dudgeon, spluttering with outrage. But when CNN lets Democrat plants ask questions of the candidates at a Republican debate?

Eh, not so much.

Update: Fox News has the story on its home page. Meanwhile, CNN nibbles at the edges.

This kind of thing still surprises me when I hear about it!

I think its just the idea that CNN believes they could get away with it without really trying to cover their tracks.

Anyways, this idea that the states ought to decide whether or not to legalize the killing of innocent babies is inherently vile and evil. Anyone who makes such an argument (like Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, etc.) is by definition a bad person.

To get a better idear of what I'm talking about check out this analysis of Ron Paul's response to a question asked on YouTube about abortion a few months back.

Of course we're all fatally flawed and prone to evil, but I take it you mean "a lot more evil than the rest of us." Let's leave the theological concept of total depravity aside for a moment.

I agree that such an argument is desperately flawed, and the person offering it deserves very close scrutiny. However, making that argument doesn't automatically render the arguer evil. It's evidence of sloppy thinking at a minimum, and it might indicate pro-abortion bias, but by itself it's no surefire marker for a special extra helping of evilness.
